Elias, or Hollis, or Raymond Bell — the operator who set the station to accept a replacement.
There are three names in the logbook and one handwriting. Whoever he was, he did the work: he wired the station to take on a new voice, he left the console warm, and he walked out.
Jonah's whole guilt sits here. If the station found him, the station is still looking, and every broadcast goes out to somebody.
